About the Role:
Bionic is seeking a software Director of Product who can lead an integrated design/build team that obsesses over its customers and ships small batches of software quickly, continuously, with very little drama. You will collaborate with company leadership to set direction for the product, grow a first-rate team, and nurture a healthy culture. This is an R&D role today with long-term opportunity for P&L ownership.
The right candidate believes in modern software technologies and methods, including agile, lean entrepreneurship, and balanced team. Deep experience in customer research, business strategy and productizing new ideas is required. Communication and collaboration both externally and internally will be key to success in this role. We are looking for someone ambitious, decisive, and passionate about product delivery who can push us to do even greater things together.

What You’ll Do:
Lead the vision, strategy, planning, and delivery of the OnBionic software
Lead a balanced team of Product, Engineering, and Design professionals
Define and manage key success metrics
Gather and prioritize customer, user, and business needs
Deliver customer value relentlessly
Conceive, test, iterate, and ship new product ideas
Validate decisions using in-market experiments
Maintain alignment with senior management on direction, business rationale, and key findings
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and evaluate market trends to enhance product development, positioning, and pricing
Continue to recruit and develop our world-class team of developers, designers, and product managers
What You’ll Need:
7+ years as a software product manager
Other leadership experience (for example as a technology entrepreneur, people manager, or in a previous career)
Deep commitment to agile, lean entrepreneurship, and balanced team
Experience developing and maintaining world-class enterprise SaaS software in a rapidly scaling environment
Experience owning the product lifecycle from inception
Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to manage both directly and through influence to deliver disruptive solutions to market
Excellent people management skills; experience hiring, onboarding, and training world-class teams preferred
Ability to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done with a results-oriented, team player work ethic
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with deep experience in clearly presenting ideas, business rationale, and implications to C-level executives.
Strong technical background with a thorough understanding of the development and implementation of large-scale, complex applications
Bachelor’s Degree required
