About the role:

We are seeking an inquisitive Entrepreneur Associate to provide operational and tactical support for multiple startup teams across our client partners. This person will be a core member of a Bionic-Partner client team tasked with rapidly validating multiple potential business ideas to discover commercially attractive businesses. This role is instrumental in assisting Bionic entrepreneurs in the sourcing of potential ideas, navigating the start-up landscape, execution of validation activities, providing insights and financial analytics to support our partners’ strategic investment decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support teams in evaluating new growth ideas, including competitive analysis, solution synthesis, and researching industry-specific knowledge

  • Support the start-up teams with Bionic Labs to enable execution of experiment and prototype execution

  • Research and build network of relevant start-ups for potential partnership opportunities

  • Take the lead on helping startup teams with project-level analysis and actively contribute in bringing new conceptual ideas to life

  • Create and organize client communications and board materials, including building financial models, preparing business models, powerpoint decks, assets, etc.

  • Participate in weekly client meetings, and synthesize action steps/learnings as required

  • Travel as necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 2-3 years of experience as a business or research analyst

  • Previous experience working in Consulting, Venture Capital, or Private Equity strongly preferred

  • Strong project management skills; can multitask and prioritize running multiple project plans under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Deep passion and understanding of startup/venture ecosystems or previous startup experience is a plus

  • Highly detail oriented, with strong attention to accuracy and organization

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent critical thinking skills and strategic aptitude; ability to interpret data and provide creative conclusions/recommendations

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills; professional and confident demeanor with team of executives
